Lithuanian Research Council
The Lithuanian Research Council is one of the main institutions funding scientific activities and project implementations at the national level. National Paying Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture
The National Paying Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture (NMA) is the only accredited institution in Lithuania that administers state support for agriculture and rural development as well as European Union (EU) support funds for agriculture, rural development, and fisheries, performing their payment and control functions. The NMA is a budgetary institution funded by the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania and EU funds.
The goal of the NMA is to implement measures of Lithuania’s agricultural, rural development, and fisheries policy in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, EU legal acts, and other regulations, by administering state and EU support funds for agriculture, rural development, and fisheries, and ensuring their control.
