Funding

Academic staff conducting fundamental and applied scientific research can receive external funding for scientific research, experimental development, and innovation (R&D&I) to carry out scientific studies. Scientific research is financed by European Union and national funding instruments’ programs dedicated to implementing R&D&I projects. To encourage inter-institutional collaboration among scientists and the development of competencies for young scientists and doctoral students, an annual R&D&I science project competition is announced by KTU, LSMU, VDU, and LEI.
