Field of study

  • Phytochemical, genetic, and agro-biological studies of native and introduced plants. Selection of new cultivars, taking into account the changing climatic conditions.

  • Studies on the regularities of the accumulation of biologically active substances in plants.  Fruit quality and post-harvest storage time.

  • Development of innovative products for the food, pharmaceutical/medical, plant protection, and cosmetic industries.

  • Studies on the extraction of functional components of fruit processing waste using sustainable methods.
